As Chairperson, Kennedy provides visionary leadership to Kenyans living across the South Wales region. Based in Cardiff since 2016, he has been deeply committed to fostering unity, cultural pride, and mutual support among the diaspora. His mission is to bring diaspora members together, and transform individual connections into a strong, organised community. Under his guidance, KESWA continues to build inclusive networks, support integration, and preserve Kenyan heritage. Kennedy is passionate about creating a resilient community that empowers current members while laying a lasting foundation for future generations of Kenyans in South Wales.

Based in Newport with her family, Vice Chair Rittah is also passionate about bringing diaspora Kenyans together under the KESWA mission. As one of KESWA's founding members, her role in supporting the Chairperson to deliver, promote and implement his vision alongside the wider Executive Team.

A proud Kenyan based in Cardiff since the mid-90s, and with extensive managerial experience in the Third Sector; Helida is passionate about all things Kenyan and community engagement. Acting as the Community Group's Treasurer, she is responsible for all aspects of financial management and governance for KESWA. Helida provides general financial oversight of the Group - including but not limited to: financial reporting and bookkeeping; acting as the organisation's lead on funding, fundraising, and sales; and is primary liaison for KESWA's strategic and financial partnerships.

As the most out-going, fun-loving and youth-orientated member of the Executive Team, in addition to his duties supporting the Office of the Treasury - Bravon is a vital and energetic ambassador for all things social at KESWA. He is often a proud MC at most big KESWA public events, and is passionate about youth engagement both generally and as part of KESWA's mission.

Based in Cardiff since the mid-90s, Winnie is the Lead Communications Officer. She is passionate about the legacy and mission of KESWA to unite diaspora Kenyans and their families in South Wales. Winnie also assists in the management of records for the Group.

An exciting new addition to the Executive Team, Elda provides an essential support function to all members of the KESWA Executive Team by providing the Group's wider secretariat function. With extensive experience in education as a Swahili teacher, Elda brings her skills and devotion to the important administrative work of producing comprehensive minutes, organising meetings and assisting in the management of records for the Group.

A vibrant, intelligent and driven new addition to the Executive Team - Ramadhan is a full-time Ph.D. Research Student in Cybersecurity at the University of South Wales, and also appointed as a Post-Graduate Research (PGR) Student Representative in my Faculty, alongside a list of other impressive accolades both in the UK and Kenya. Ramadhan is a strong advocate for Mental Health, Inclusivity and Diversity. He is also passionate about realising KESWA's stated mission and objectives and being part of the Kenyan diaspora in South Wales.

A longtime Wales and Cardiff resident, Peter uses his invaluable skills in digital photography and editing to capture and collate both special and publicity moments on behalf of KESWA and its Members.
